Days  1-5

Arrive into Barbados Grantley Adams Airport, 45 minute private transfer to The Sandpiper staying in a One Bedroom Suite, Ocean Front. Days 5-10

Days 1-3

Fly into Cairo, private transfer to Four Seasons Hotel Cairo The First Residence for 2 nights. Grand Egyptian Museum, newly opened to the public, offers an awe-inspiring journey through more than 5,000 years of history. Overlooking the Pyramids of Giza, this vast, light-filled complex showcases Egypt’s most iconic artefacts, including the complete treasures of Tutankhamun.

The Great Pyramids of Giza are the only present-day survivors of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, built over 4,500 years ago as giant tombs for the mummies of the pharaohs Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. The pyramids are truly monumental in scale.

The enigmatic Sphinx is close to the Pyramids featuring the body of a lion and the face of a man wearing a royal head cloth.

Day 3

Arrive in Aswan, transfer to Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan for 1 night. Recently renovated by French interior designer Sybille de Margerie, the beautifully redesigned hotel exudes its iconic heritage enriched with a contemporary design.

Days 4-8

Transfer to Sun Boat IV where you will stay for 4 nights sailing from Aswan to Luxor. Sun Boat IV boasts a contemporary-yet-classic design with the highest levels of luxury and chic. With just 38 cabins, on board, it is an intimate floating palace.

Ride on a felucca (a typical Egyptian sailboat) around Elephantine Island, Lord Kitchener’s Botanical Gardens, and the Agha Khan Mausoleum

Motorboat ride to visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilika. Take a visit to the Granite Quarries, which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples, and still hold a huge unfinished obelisk.

Visit some magnificent Temples: Kom Ombo – dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. Edfu Temple. Temple of Luxor, dedicated to the god Amun.

On the way back to the river Nile, you will pass by the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn.

Tomb of Tutankhamun is perhaps the most famous of all the tombs in Egypt’s Valley of the Kings, discovered virtually intact by British archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922.

Day 8

Transfer from the boat to Hilton Luxor Hotel, the ideal base from which to explore the region’s historic attractions such as the Temple of Karnak, which is just moments away from the hotel.

Day 9-13

Private transfer to The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh, the resort is set on 48 acres of gentle hills, sloping down to its own 850-metre private beach, washed by the warm waters of the coral-rich Red Sea.

Days 13-14

Arrive back in Cairo, transfer to Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo .The downtown hotel upholds its legacy and the city’s ancient history, overlooking the legendary Nile or the historical Egyptian Museum.

Activities include:

Downtown Food Tour. Start at the historic Tahrir Square and walk through the Haussmann-inspired streets of Downtown Cairo, enjoy six stops for different foods and drinks. whilst taking in the history and culture of the city.

Islamic Cairo & Bazaar. The bazaar is a vast labyrinth of narrow streets where you will find workshops and stalls selling everything from woodwork and glassware to leather goods and perfumes.

Days 1-3

Land in Miami, self drive to Islamorada. Check into Cheeca Lodge & Spa for 3 nights.

A sprawling city with a vast range of cultures and a fiery Latino spirit, Miami lies on Florida’s coast, flanked by the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Everglades wetlands on the other.

Days 7-10

Head to Miami South Beach to stay at The Betsy South Beach for 4 nights. An iconic, boutique luxury hotel oozing vintage glamour, nestled among the pastel-coloured Art Deco architecture of the famous Ocean Drive.

Activities include:
Beach action, soak up some of Florida’s sunshine. Renowned for its stretching white sands and glistening turquoise waters, South Beach is a glamorous combination of beach relaxation, vibrant day and night.

Sample the local cuisine crafted by world-renowned celebrity chefs.

Shop ’til you drop, Lincoln Road Mall is home to both big brands and independent fashion shops.

Day 1

Day 2

Days 1-2

Arrive at San Jose airport, transfer to Parque del Lago hotel.

Activities include:

Explore the capital city of San Jose in the Central Valley by taking in a variety of cultural and natural attractions. Visit museums, such as the Costa Rican Art Museum, the Gold and Jade Museums as well as the National and Contemporary Art and Design Museums as well as the architectural gem, National Theatre.

Days 3-4

Transfer to the Costa Rican Caribbean coastline and stay at Le Cameleon Boutique Hotel. This stunning coastline is well known for its coral
reefs, multi-coloured sand beaches, coastal vegetation, and forests. On this coastline, turtles nest along the beaches of Tortuguero National Park and Barra del Colorado National Wildlife Refuge.

Activities include:

Enjoy boat rides, hikes, and snorkeling adventures in the stunning coastal forest. Spot monkeys, sloths, birds, iguanas and other fascinating wildlife, local guides can walk and talk you through the rainforest excursions.

Cahuita has the largest system of Coral Reefs in Costa Rica, including 6 species of coral, a wide range of colourful tropical fish and the occasional encounter of a harmless reef shark or stingray.

Days 5-6

Transfer to Mawamba Lodge, located in the northeast of Costa Rica in  Tortuguero, it is accessible only by small plane or boat, along the famous Tortuguero Canals. This system of rivers runs alongside the coast and cuts through beautiful primary forest which boasts the greatest biological diversity of the country. Here you will find the an important nesting site for green turtles. Other species of sea turtles like the leatherback and hawksbill also nest on the wide beaches of the park and refuge.

Activities include:

In this area, most of the exploring is done by small boat as there are limited hiking paths.

Days 7-8

Transfer to La Fortuna which has an elevation of 350 feet above sea level and is best known as the base from which to explore the magnificent Arenal Volcano and National Park. Stay at the Arenal Springs Resort and Spa.

Activities include:

Naturally heated thermal springs, soak in the mineral waters.

Hiking trails which pass through 2.5 km of rainforest, walk over 15 bridges from 5 to 100 metres long and some over 70 metres high. Enjoy the flora & fauna and amazing views of the Arenal Volcano.

Visit the stunning 70 metre high waterfall and hike to the natural pool at the base for a swim.

Visit the sloths! A guide will walk you along a trail to spot these beautiful animals up in the treetops.

Visit a local family of agroecological farmers and enjoy a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch made with the farm’s produce such as coffee, cheese and tortillas.

Days 9-10

Transfer to Monteverde, stay at the Koora Hotel.

Activities include:

Guided night walk of the Monteverde Cloud Forest, see bats, insects, birds
and nocturnal mammals as well as glowing fireflies and phosphorescent fungi.

Monteverde is one of the best areas to learn about the processes of cultivating coffee. The Don Juan Farm Coffee Tour provides an authentic and representative insight into the local culture of growing coffee and the history of the land.

Days 11-12

Transfer to Tamarindo, one of the best-known beach towns of Costa Rica. Stay at Hotel Tamarindo Diria Beach Hotel.

Activities include:

Surfing, kayaking, snorkelling, fishing, zip lining, tubbing down a river, horse riding, catamaran sailing.

Catamaran tour, the stunning boat will sail for about 5 miles to access some of the most beautiful, isolated beaches and snorkelling locations of Costa Rica. A snorkelling guide will show you a variety of marine wildlife, such as pufferfish, starfish, sea turtles, dolphins, and whales.
