Days 1 -3
Arrive into Cape Town airport, transfers to Mount Nelson Hotel, Belmond.
Activities include:
Explore Cape Town and the surrounding area including private tours of the Cape Peninsula with lunch at Crofters Kitchen and and Table Mountain.
Days 4-6
Transfer to Franschhoek to stay in a Garden Cottage at Babylonstoren.
Activities include:
A private guided garden visit, farm walk, cycling, canoeing / rowing on the farm dam, fishing, bread baking course, cellar tour, wine tasting, olive oil and balsamic vinegar tour and an essential oil tour.
Days 7-9
Transfer to La Residence, Franschhoek.
Activities include:
Winelands Tour with a guide including lunch with Harry
Melck – Cape Wine Master.
Franschhoek Sip and Cycle Experience, guided cycle tour with wine tasting and pairing.
Days 10 – 12
Transfer to Grootbos Private Nature Reserve to stay in a Forest Lodge.
Activities include:
Horse-riding, Botanical Fynbos hike, Milkwood forest walk, 4×4 flower safari, coastal drive with seasonal land-based whale watching (July – December), beach picnics, ancient Klipgat Cave and Walker Bay Nature Reserve beach excursion.
Marine Boat Trip from Gaansbai.
Days 13 and 14
Transfer to Hermanus to stay at Birkenhead House.
Activities include:
Tour of Hermanus and the surrounding area.
Fly back to UK from Cape Town airport.
